This is where the Buprenorphine is effective, because it mimics the stimulation of the receptors, allowing the detoxing addict to feel relief from the withdrawal pain, and give them enough relief so that rehabilitation can begin. Not only considered, but knew that I would stay sober. • Another important factor was my family being involved. In past treatments, none of my immediate family attended the Family Programs, nor were they interested in visiting me during the treatment program.
